This project involves migrating the Prestashop website of “Volets Direct Usine” from version 1.6 to version 1.7.8. During this migration, at the client’s request, I ensured to maintain the existing structure of the site to ensure a smooth transition for regular users. However, I also took this opportunity to propose a redesign of the brand’s visual identity, which I felt was outdated and in need of a refreshment.
Special attention was given to the redesign of the “Volets Direct Usine” logo. I worked on a new design that brings a more relevant meaning and aligns with the brand’s evolution. The new logo reflects the modern, professional, and trustworthy image that “Volets Direct Usine” aims to convey to its customers, further reinforced by the choice of blue color for the sense of trust it imparts.
This proposal for a graphic redesign was accepted with the constraint of not making too many changes to the logo, as the client was attached to it. The only modification that I found striking and necessary was to incorporate the shutter into the “E.”
