Project overview
Rencontre avec Dago is Grandir Aventure’s fair and responsible tourism agency in Madagascar, founded in 2016 (“Dago” is the island’s nickname). Its new website had to reveal Madagascar’s endearing face, far from the postcard image.
Challenges
An immersive website driven by beautiful photography, with technical constraints: the stay database is connected to Webresa, the booking management software. A workflow workshop mapped the links between the two tools, then UX and site-map workshops structured the showcase site.
My role
As a full-stack developer, I worked hand in hand with the art direction to deliver a “ready to develop” version without ever compromising the aesthetics. Everything related to stays is managed externally and imported every day, so the site is always up to date and in sync with the travel-specialised platform.
Result
A website that is both polished and permanently up to date, built in four months thanks to available and committed stakeholders.
